Do I have to pay for the music in addition to paying you?
The CardioHead service consists of identifying the songs that will match your cadence and putting the playlist together. How you procure the songs is up to you. Most people have unlimited music streaming subscriptions that they already pay for.
What happens if I don’t like a song on my playlist?
You can always skip it or you can let me know and I will replace that song with another one from that genre. You get one revision at no additional charge with each playlist.
How often should I update my playlist?
If you are comfortable with the pace, you do not have to update your playlist. If you get bored with the songs on a particular playlist, you can request an updated playlist. Of course, as you change your pace or alter your time you will need to request an updated playlist. Some people update their playlist monthly.
Why wouldn’t I just use an app that serves the same purpose?
I had the same thought and there were two reasons that I was not able to use an app. First, the apps that I have come across, attempt to detect your SPM (Strides per minute) based on the rhythm of your motion as you run or walk. Thus, the app doesn’t dictate your pace, it follows the pace that you set. This prevents you from using the beat as a target that can be counted on to keep you on pace as you become fatigued. Second, the apps that I have come across were not accurate in sensing your pace or in matching a song to your cadence. For the program to work there must be a sync between the user’s SPM (Strides per minute) and the songs BPM (Beats per minute). People that are serious about their cardio require consistency and accuracy. Consistency and accuracy are pillars of the CardioHead experience.
